Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Pipefitter with expertise in both pipefitting and Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding to ensure the efficient and precise installation of piping systems. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in blueprint reading, pipefitting techniques, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Installation and Maintenance:

   - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine the layout of piping systems.

   - Assemble and install a variety of pipes, valves, and fittings according to project requirements.

2. Welding and fabrication:

   - Conduct welding and fabrication tasks, particularly TIG welding, as needed for the assembly of piping components.

   - Ensure welds meet industry standards and project specifications, working with materials such as stainless steel and carbon steel.

3. Pipe Repairs:

   - Perform maintenance and repairs on existing piping systems, including identifying and resolving leaks, malfunctions, or other issues.

4. Quality assurance:

   - Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.

   - Implement measures to prevent defects and ensure the longevity of piping systems.

5. Cooperation:

   - Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to coordinate and complete projects efficiently.

   - Communicate effectively with team members to address challenges and find solutions.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Pipefitter in industrial or construction settings.
2. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
3. Knowledge of various pipe materials, sizes, and fittings.
4. Welding and fabrication skills related to pipefitting tasks, with a strong emphasis on TIG welding.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
7. Being able to provide photos of previous completed work is also a plus.
8. Excellent communication skills in English, B1.
9. Driver’s license Cat. B
10. Own car is preferred. If possible, the worker will get 0.23 EUR per kilometer driven.

Additional Details:

• The work location is in Purmerend, Netherlands.
• Accommodation is already deducted from this salary and will range between 100-130 euros. Accommodation type will be a single room or studio.
• Normal day shifts are expected; any deviations will be communicated beforehand.
